Just position the material to be drilled and pull the lever. Pulling the lever forward will activate the 3/4 hp drill motor while at the same time automatically clamping the material. Pull the lever further to finish the drill stroke, when the drilling is done, return the lever to the home position to get set up for the next piece.

The DK3100 utilizes three step drill bits eliminate clogging when drilling pocket holes. One of the bits utilized is left-handed.
